Hi, I’m Lucas Girotto.
I’m a computer science master’s student focused on AI and game development, with a parallel post-graduation in game design. I’m mainly interested in building systems and mechanics: things that are clear, expressive, and hold together under pressure. I’ve worked across backend, full-stack, and game development, both in academic and real-world projects, including leading small teams and shipping production software.
I co-founded and work as CTO at SafetyScope, where I design and build backend systems for automated video surveillance analysis. On the game side, I’ve published several non-commercial indie games and prototypes, using engines like Godot and Unity. I’m not an artist, so I design around constraints and focus heavily on gameplay, structure, and iteration.
This portfolio is a snapshot of the things I’ve built so far: games, tools, and software projects that reflect how I think and work.
